Fumikiri
Fumikiri is the Japanese word for a level rail crossing.

My favorite areas to photograph level rail crossings were near the Yoyogi-Hachiman station (behind the Little Nap Coffee Stand if memory serves me right), in Jiyƫgaoka and along the Toden Arakawa Line (one of two remaining tram lines) in Tokyo. In Kamakura just walk along the Enoshima Dentetsu Line.
All photos taken between November 2016 and February 2017 with the Contax T3 (except the one square photo, this was the Fujifilm GF670).
